The cards are canonical; Cedar (and W3C VCs, and UCANs, and GNAP) are
projections generated at the boundary when each becomes useful. This
ordering is deliberate: patients consent to sentences, not to policy
languages. The counter-argument — “you’ll regret not starting on the
standard” — deserves its best advocate. Have at it.
